Driver's Education

I've always been afraid of dying in a car accident. Thats why 10 years after everyone else I'm going to get my driver's license. I still have the fear, but it's a case of the fear of the fear being greater than the actual fear.

Plus, I really want to go to shows.

Update: I failed. Why? Goddamn left turns. I wouldn't have killed anyone.

On National TV

http://www.mtv.com/onair/dyn/yo_momma/series.jhtml

I saw my high school valedictorian on national TV a few days ago.

Anyways, my sister got a myspace and basically told me that I must start an account. Everything I do on there that isn't related to music involves her telling me to do so. That's how I found Robert.

She told me to look up people who graduated from my high school, and I did.

Wow.

It's an eye opener, but on the other hand I still see them as the people they were in high school and, in some cases, middle school. It's even worse when you're ogling pics of them half-naked.

Also, it a good way to find out who's gay if your school didn't have PFLAG or an LGBT group.

Reading

There hasn't been much smut writing, but I've been reading a lot.

On Friday I finished Lynne Truss' Talk to the Hand. It's more interesting when it talks about social isolation of modern life (too many choices, computers are making us isolated, etc.) than when she talks about manners because that topic is very culture specific.

Yesterday I finished Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife by Mary Roach. It wasn't that good. She is neither a skeptic nor a believer, which is good, but I find her too droll for my tastes. She reminds me of David Sedaris with their similiar I'm-too-smart-for-this-room-(and-so-are-you) smug superiority. Everytime she meets someone with a 'funny' accent (whether in Coventry or Tennessee), I want to punch her in the face.

I didn't even feel like getting started on Caryl Phillips' Dancing in the Dark. Why? It just seemed condescending to Southern blacks. I know, I know , I'll give it another try.

I'm cheating on You

Yeah, I've opened another account over at livejournal.
No, you don't want to know about it.
No, I'm not posting on it more than I do here.

It's different. I mean here I talk in depth, but over there it's just a ...a quickie post.
I still love you. I'm just torn.

Trich

Argh! I finally realized why I've been pulling my hair a lot more than usual. Could it be becuase my Mom recently got fired from her job?
Anyways back to knitting; I'm knitting a purse.

I've been trying to watch Hoop Dreams, but that movie is long as fuck. Not much for writing though. I'm going to start on a new book soon. So many books and so little time.

Here's something I found amusing:

Okay, when I say amusing I just mean P33n's thrusting. After that my mind turns to horny mush.
