Another lonely Valentine's Day is coming up for me. I almost hate dislike that holiday as much as Christmas.
The only bright side of this holiday is that my local Clear Channel radio station is playing Gym Class Heroes' "Cupid's Chokehold." I was flipping by on my way to listen to "Loveline" thank you very much - sexually confused teenagers and sexually adventurous but clueless young adults never cease to amuse me...and of course Dr. Drew...

I was also musing about how in these days of bitch-and-ho rapping, it's nice to have a romantic-ish love song. And since Cupid is in the title it makes it very appropriate for Valentines.
Then I thought about my other favorite holiday (and other special occasions) rap songs:

The Speaker of the House is a woman. And she will talk and talk and talk...and the Republicans will have to listen. Yay Nancy Pelosi!

Why do I always do that dorky 'yay'? Oh, wait, now I remember. It's because I am a dork.

Also there's a Muslim swearing in on the Koran. I wonder what an athesist representative would swear on?


In local news, I've painted my fingernails black. Yeah, I'm trendy as fuck. (Trendy from 10 years ago) Of course I hate how it makes my fingers look like a storybook witch's fingers. But I'll keep it.

Regrets and Resolutions

I spent New Year's Eve alone. Then I decided to work on my New Year's Resolutions. I looked at the list and realized that I hadn't completed any of the thirteen Resolutions from 2006. So I added a few new ones and called it a new list.

I hope to get at least one of the old resolutions done.
